Rosemary Duff of the Bracondale History Group will talk on Exploring Bracondale’s History.

The Bracondale History Group is an informal group of residents who have an interest in the history of their area. Rosemary Duff has lived in Bracondale since 2001. Together with fellow authors Pam Fielder, Ed Bulpett and Lesley Whitby, she has been involved in the creation of the group's three books about Bracondale, which draw on contributions from residents past and present.

The most recent, Bracondale - A Village Within the City, looks at the lives of some of the interesting people who have lived there over the years. Lesley Whitby and Pam Fielder will also come to the meeting and be happy to answer questions. Rosemary says: ‘We are all enthusiastic amateurs, rather than historians.’

All Historian Group sessions start at 10:15am for tea, & coffee (£1 in the honesty box) and the talk will start at 10:30am. There will be an opportunity for further refreshments and a chat afterwards.

The talk is free but please book to ensure a place.
